On the 20th March 2015 Graham went on a cruise to the Faroe Islands to observe the total solar eclipse. The ship he was on went to the location of longitude 006 degrees 26 minutes West, latitude 64 degrees 49 minutes North.

The animation below shows the area of partial eclipse which is the larger and lighter moving shadow and the very dark spot is the track of totality which is the only place on earth where the total eclipse could be observed.


The photographs below were taken on board ship, which was no mean feat considering the ship was rolling on the North Atlantic waves!
